UA Local 41 offers exciting, challenging, and ever-changing
careers in the Piping Industry. Careers in Plumbing, Pipefitting,
Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Welding are some
of the opportunities you may choose from should you become
a Pipe Trades Apprentice.

The Local 41 Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee
(JATC) maintains a hiring roster, which is updated every
two years, for any possible Apprenticeship positions
that may occur in our jurisdiction. This roster was
updated in September of 2000 and will be updated again
in September of 2002.

| Apprenticeship Information |
5 year Apprenticeship.
8,500 hours of on the job training.
1230 hours of classroom instruction; (27 Saturdays per year, September through April)

| Apprenticeship Wages |
Starting Wage=$10.46 per/hr (45% of journeyman's pay)
5% (of journeyman's pay) increase every 6 months
|
| Journeyman Wages |
$23.25 per/hr
