To all Local 459 members:
2006-2007 School year Starts Sept. 11, 2006 and ends May 22, 2007
4th and 5th year apprentice studies include
80 hrs. of welding
40 hrs. on line courses
1st - 3rd year studies include:
- 32 hrs. underground plumbing
- 36 hrs. drainage
- 24 hrs. rigging
- 30 hrs. job saftey and health
All apprentices will study:
- 54hrs. related science
- 32 hrs. code and related studies
- 30 hrs. low voltage and boiler controls
- 8hrs of 1st aid (CPR) will also required
